Audivi Memory Banks

Born from a personal journey, Audivi Memory Banks is a testament to the power of innovation. Inspired by the challenges faced by her mother's caregivers, Kristin Nelson saw the repetitive storytelling as an opportunity. Her ingenious idea? Capture a moment - a photo or a cherished item - and record her mother's accompanying story. While this activity itself fostered connection, the true magic unfolded when her mother listened back. The recordings sparked laughter, rekindled memories, and transported her back to cherished moments. Beyond the joy it brought her, Audivi Memory Banks provided a much-needed break for caregivers. New caregivers, upon listening to the recordings, gained a deeper understanding of her personality and life story.

PeriChair

Driven by the need to provide a more respectful and easier way to assist with personal hygiene for his aging father, Vincent, a dedicated caregiver, searched for a solution. Unable to find anything that met his needs, Vincent took matters into his own hands and invented the PeriChair.

PeriChair can be used as a raised toilet seat-- giving a 3-5 inch rise. The unique seat design with an open front and back allows for better access to the perineum and takes pressure off the tailbone, where painful wounds start. Used as a bedside commode, the seats lift so you can easily top load the bucket. The transfer bench makes it easy to transition to a tub, so you’ll never have to step into a tub again. The wheels lock automatically when 40 pounds of weight is applied to the seat, so you don’t need to worry about stability. Once positioned on the seat, the transfer seat flips up and locks. This creates a safer feeling and reduces anxiety  during the transferring and showering process. If used for a separate shower, the unique seat design and easy access to the perineum ensures that you will never have to stand in soapy water while cleaning.
