Spotlight on CareLink360

Carelink360 was founded by Paula Muller, Ph. D. She is a brilliant and thoughtful woman who has a background in technology, healthcare and biomedical engineering. But it’s her own caregiving experiences that lead her to her vision for CareLink360: to bring seniors with cognitive impairments and their loved ones closer together.

Carelink 360 is a safe and simple way to not only stay in touch with our aging loved ones but also a safe and simple way for them to feel empowered and connected.

Carelink 360 is a jam packed innovative caregiving solution developed for people with cognitive decline. If your loved one is starting to have a difficult time with a tablet or running into problems using their smartphone or if you are concerned they are at risk of being spammed or targeted, then you should learn more about Carelink 360.

Does this scenario sound familiar? Your loved one loves playing Solitaire on their phone. One day you take a look and see that there are 50 different Solitaire games on their phone as well as a host of other unknown apps. You clean it up and remove all of the unwanted apps only to do it again the next week. Why does it happen? Free games make it very confusing with lots of ads and very easy to click on unintended links.

What about this? Have you ever looked at your loved one’s Facebook app and was startled by what you saw? Try it. Look at the messenger feature. I have done this and was horrified to see that my loved one, who has cognitive impairment, was having a conversation with a stranger and giving out very personal information. Turns out she had signed up to receive messages from her pharmacy through Messenger. She had assumed the stranger was from the pharmacy. The good news is that we caught it before anything bad happened.

Cognitive impairment varies greatly from person to person and some people become experts in hiding it. It can also be difficult for family members to really see someone's decline. It’s also crucial to give people their space and independence. It’s a tricky balance between safety and dignity. That’s where Carelink 360 comes in.

In the early stages of decline, Carelink360 is a digital picture frame, video calling device and a device for messages and reminders. As time goes by, Carelink 360 becomes a source for brain games, entertainment, engagement and a much more robust and empowering tool.

In no particular order, below are the many features of Carelink 360’s Digital Health Companion. Some may or may not be pertinent to your current situation but because of the thoughtful design of Carelink 360, you and your loved one can simply just choose to not use them. The pricing is all inclusive.

First, the design and set up is straightforward and super easy. It’s truly plug and play. After you enter the WiFi password, you never need to enter it again…even if the power goes out. When the power is restored, the Digital Companion is up and running. The device is secure, private, ad free and runs on an encrypted network. That means there are no worries about spam or data breaches. And no worries about your Mom clicking on a worrisome link. It uses a simple, intuitive touchscreen for navigation.
